I am really excited that I am able to share this wonderful news with you today: BeautyPlusPower.com will be releasing a plus size model calendar in 2007! The calendar called LUSCIOUS - Women With Curves, will feature 12 months of beautiful plus size models in sizes 12-16. These women represent the average sized American woman but with above average beauty.

This project was very much a labor of love, and something we have been working on for over a year, but we had to keep the cat in the bag until now! The calendar will be available nationwide in late summer, and you will be able to buy it both online and in retail stores. If you have any trouble finding the calendar, BeautyPlusPower.com will also be selling copies.

Many of the models appearing in the calendar are well known faces like Ivory May and Nicole Lebris, while some may be girls you don't recognize but hopefully will soon!

I hope all of you will go out at get a copy of LUSCIOUS when it hits the stand and celebrate the beauty of full figured women!

  Congrats! I think this is positive and a celebration of curves in a calendar is a fantastic idea. One point though next time don't limit it to size 16 all BBW curves are dangerous and should be displayed as well. ;)

  It is great that the calendar will be available in retail stores and not just online. More exposure for the plus sized beauties of the world!
  
  One question though: is there a reason why the organizers putting the calendar together decided to stop at a size 16 when featuring plus size models? In some plus sized circles, a 16 is on the smaller side.
  
  Just a question...you and everyone who worked on the calendar still get major props and praise!
