It's not just about the clothes
Well, as many of my readers know, I used to work as a makeup artist before I started Beauty Plus Power. You can go check out that site if you want: Lisafashionista.com

So I figured I should tell you about a few beauty supplies a girl should not be without. These suggestions apply for women of all sizes, but you know how much I stress that a plus size woman should present herself as well as possible at all times, in order to fully flaunt her fabulousness and feel confident!

Tweezerman Petite Tweezer Set, $25

I LIVE for these tweezers. See the extra pointy ones - you could take out someone's eye with them! But you can also pull out a tiny two day old hair that's barely broken the surface. Plus, no more pulling out the wrong hair because of lack of accuracy - these fab tweezers will get the exact hair you want!
*note* - You can also pull out your boyf's ingrown beard hairs with them.

Urban Decay Eye Shadow X, $15

I worked for Urban Decay at Bloomingdales back in the day (but these days they are pretty much only in Sephora) and discovered their amazing eyeshadows. They have fabulous pigment, a nice sheen, go on smooth and last forever. X is my favorite neutral, but if you want to go crazy, try the iridescent aquamarine Shattered.

T3 Tourmaline Professional Ionic Hair Dryer for Travel, $130
A lot of people don't realize the difference that a professional brand hair dryer can really make. The T3 will help keep your hair smooth and frizz free, and if you get the travel size, you can actually afford the damn thing, because the regular size T3 is like $300! I also recommend the Solano brand.
