Lane Bryant is every plus size woman's friend. She's not your best friend, but she's an old friend, one who although you aren't always excited to see, you usually have a good time when you are with her. Sometimes she lets you down, but in the long run, who else is going to be there when you need her? Like when you need a good bra - there's Lane Bryant with their new Cacique styles. When you need dress pants, Lane Bryant's got those wide leg trousers that fit so nice. And when you need a bridal gown, there's....wait.....what????
Yes ladies, Lane Bryant has mysteriously, and for no apparent reason decided to make a foray into the world of bridal. Even stranger, they have done so by offering only 4 dresses. As if its not already strange enough, they are also selling them for bargain basements prices - $149 to be exact. That's less than half the prices of those ABS dresses they've been trying to push on us the left few months. So what gives??? The dresses seem cute enough so far, but even if you aren't dropping a lot of money on your dress, why oh why would you buy it at Lane Bryant? I am very confused!

Well, the bridal market doesn't typically design well for the plus sized woman. Most of the dresses I've found available in my size look like they're from the 1980s. I think it's a step in the right direction, and offering a small selection to start with is a wise move, that way they'll be out less money if it doesn't sell.

LOL.. how about bras in some bigger cup sizes? i tried their G and H and they didn't seem any bigger, i was still falling out of them. plus, they weren't any more supportive (no extra panels or closure clasps) than a C or D cup of the same style. come on, what does it take to get a comfortable bra that won't hit my ribcage with an underwire but give me some support?
Spur of the moment elopements. The long one with the empire waste is my favorite. A LB in Vegas could clean up.
